JISA (Jurnal Informatika dan Sains) accepts original contributions in the fields of Computer Science, Informatics, and Data Science. The accepted manuscript types include:

- Literature Reviews / Survey Papers: Comprehensive, systematic, and critical reviews of existing literature that analyze, synthesize, and evaluate state-of-the-art developments, emerging trends, or open research challenges in specific computing and informatics domains.
- Short Communications / Applied Technical Notes: Concise reports detailing innovative software implementations, practical frameworks, or preliminary high-impact research results requiring rapid dissemination.
